It comes with both the soft top and the optional hard top. The Benz 107 chassis is one of the most legendary and successful cars in Mercedes Benz history. They were sold in the USA from 1973 starting with the 450SL to the final edition with the 560SL ending in 1989. The 380SL was built from 1980-1985 and is powered by an all aluminum 3.8 liter V-8 engine mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission. Only 8144 were produced in its final year in 1985.
